The base is richly carved with layered foliate bands and rests on three pronounced claw feet, giving the piece a grounded, architectural stance. The column is deeply worked in a repeating geometric relief pattern of faceted diamond blocks, transitioning upward into a carved capital with stylized leaf forms beneath a round top with a raised lip and scrolling border. The top surface shows a multi-board construction with visible join lines and a subtly recessed center panel, reinforcing its hand-worked construction. See less
