- I am calling this piece restored because there is an overcoat to the original finish. The piece has never been … moreI am calling this piece restored because there is an overcoat to the original finish. The piece has never been refinished or sanded and the patina of the hardware is original. There are scratches and staining to top as well as the lower shelf. There is a separation to the back of the lower shelf and the 1" block that is behind and supports the center of the plate rail has been replaced. It is a great piece, I love it! less
