Wall mirror with brass frame. European production, 1950s.
European production from the 1950s, attributable to the Midcentury Modern style, characterized by an asymmetrical organic shape, often referred to as a "kidney bean." The contoured brass frame follows a continuous, soft profile, emphasizing the irregular design of the mirror surface. This style was popular in postwar home furnishings, expressing a free, non-geometric approach to form. The wooden panel back features a hook for wall mounting.
