A rare and prestigious 18th-century amphora in hand-painted, glazed majolica, attributed to the historic Antica Savona factory. Featuring an ovoid body with intricate sculptural handles shaped like intertwined snakes, it is painted in monochrome cobalt blue over a lustrous tin glaze. The front depicts a landscape with architecture, while the back bears the hand-painted date "1714," historical monograms, and ribbon motifs. Preserved in excellent vintage condition, it shows natural signs of aging and ancient conservative reinforcements on the sides, attesting to its authenticity and over three centuries of history.
