This exquisite set, consisting of a vase and its large matching display plate, represents a superb example of late-20th-century porcelain painting.

Subject and Style: The decoration features a delicate and romantic botanical motif. Large blooming roses in shades of pink and magenta, intertwined with thorny tendrils and leaves, stand out against a pure white background, enhanced by an elegant and subtle chromatic pointillism. The edges of both pieces are elegantly finished with a lustrous gold trim.

Material and Finish: The set is crafted from the finest white porcelain by the prestigious German manufacturer Heinrich. The absolute value of this lot is guaranteed by the artisanal pictorial execution: the base of the plate features the trademark, along with the words "hand-painted 1989" and the artist's signature "Foresti Monica." Note also that the plate has pre-drilled holes in the base for safe wall hanging.
