It features a spherical base that … Read more An exquisite 1970s-era teardrop vase in hand-blown Murano glass, attributed to high-quality Venetian craftsmanship. It features a spherical base that extends into a long, tapered tubular neck with a diagonal "flute beak" cut at the top. The surface boasts the complex, opaque and textured "vetro scavo" technique, enhanced by a chromatic transition from the streaked ice white of the neck to the intense blue of the lower portion, with embedded white dust. Preserved in excellent condition, perfectly intact, free of chips or cracks, and with the distinctive "scavo" texture beautifully preserved.
