This is a very large soup tureen by Weimar in pattern 14051. The tureen is white and footed with a lot of gold trim and very nicely done handles. It has a ladle cut out, but does not come with a ladle. It is in the Katharina shape.
The soup tureen measures 8 7/8 inches across the rim. It is 13.75 inches from handle to handle. The bowl is 5 1/8 inches tall at the rim, 9 1/8 inches tall to the top of the lid. The bowl is about 4.25 inches deep and holds ninety-six fluid ounces. It weighs four pounds, eight ounces before packing.
This tureen has no chips, cracks, crazing, or other damage. The inside is clean and shiny and the lid is a perfect match. There is no gold wear even though this may be dated back to 1970.
