A beautifully crafted scientific surveying instrument combining precision engineering with remarkable sculptural presence.

Constructed in solid brass with finely detailed mechanical adjustments, graduated scale, optical telescope and original leveling system, this piece exemplifies the elegance of late 19th century French scientific craftsmanship.
