The piece has a sculptural handmade form with pierced openwork cutouts and a layered glaze palette of soft cream, lavender-purple, blue, and earthy brown. When lit, the cutout design casts a warm patterned glow, making it especially beautiful as an accent piece for a shelf, console, bedside table, or cozy reading corner.

The glaze has lovely movement, with organic drips and natural variation that give the piece a one-of-a-kind studio pottery presence. Both the candle holder and matching plate are signed on the underside, which appears to read ‘Glass.’ Artist not fully identified.
