This is a superb and decorative vintage Georgian revival flame mahogany bookcase purchased at great expense from Harrods London in … Read more This is a superb and decorative vintage Georgian revival flame mahogany bookcase purchased at great expense from Harrods London in the late 20th century. The bookcase features a demi-lune inlaid satin wood fan pediment cornice above a pair of astragal glazed doors in the upper section revealing adjustable shelves. The lower section has a pair of oval inlaid paneled doors opening to reveal spacious cupboards with central shelves. It was made by the prestigious furniture maker Restall Brown & Clennell for Harrods. There is no mistaking the superb quality and very grand design, which is certain to make it a talking point in your home and stand proud in whichever room you choose to place it. Condition: In really excellent condition having been beautifully cleaned and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
