Bring timeless elegance and warm patina to a hallway, powder room, or mantel with this antique French Louis Philippe mirror crafted circa 1880. The classic arched frame features a clean molded silhouette accented with delicate inner bead trim, a hallmark of the refined yet understated Louis Philippe aesthetic. The giltwood surface is enriched with soft hand-engraved floral motifs and subtle traces of red bole peeking through the original gilded finish, creating beautiful depth and authentic age character.
The mirror retains its original mercury glass with light age spotting and desirable waviness throughout, adding historic charm and a romantic reflection. The back also retains its original wood planked backing and hanging wire.
