Between the birds, monstera leaves, pink orchids, and blue flower clusters fill every remaining space on a warm ivory ground.

All of it is woven, not printed. Each bird, each leaf, each petal is built directly into the fabric through a multi-color jacquard weave process. As a result, the color depth in the macaw feathers, the tonal variation in the monstera leaves, and the detail in the toucan beak are structural qualities of the textile rather than surface applications.

The jacquard weave interlaces each color thread individually to build the pictorial composition from within the fabric structure. Because of this, the image retains its quality and color depth from every viewing angle over time. The warm ivory ground gives the tropical composition room to breathe, in contrast to darker jungle textile compositions where figures compete with the background.
