An exquisitely crafted piece with a starburst … Read more For your consideration is an antique American Brilliant Period cut crystal pedestal compote. An exquisitely crafted piece with a starburst base, paneled and notched stem, and a shallow double flower hobstar bowl with a sawtooth rim, the compote stands approximately 8.25” inches height and measures 6.5” in diameter. The crystals high lead content and deep cuts refract the light with incredible fire and brilliance. Faint mineral deposits are seen on close inspection on the bottom interior of the bowl but these aren’t casually noticed or distracting. In beautiful antique condition, no chips, cracks, prior repairs, or other compromising imperfections were found. Wear is commensurate to age and history of use so please regard the photos as they form a descriptive part of the listing. See less
