This is a mid 20th century Jens Risom executive desk, manufactured in the late 50s, early 60s of American walnut veneer and solid walnut framing. This model has a "floating top" aesthetic, with a minimalist recessed gap underneath the main desktop surface. It showcases integrated carved wood drawer pulls, and sits on solid legs that end with adjustable circular metal levelers. There are two drawers on the left and three on the right, with both sets having pull-out writing "tablets" at the top. One "tablet" has a glass insert, the other does not. The seating/knee area is closed at the back, making this desk sleek and attractive from both sides!
All of this desk's components are original, including the 4 levelers, and also comes with its key!

- This handsome desk is in excellent condition with no damage that compromises its stability or functionality. The top of the … moreThis handsome desk is in excellent condition with no damage that compromises its stability or functionality. The top of the desk is nearly flawless - an amazing feat given its age and utility. All drawers (incl hardware) work properly, coming all the way out and back in without issue. The rear metal bar in the file folder drawer is slightly bent, but functions well. There is some minor scuffing/dings along the top left bank of drawers. The middle drawer on the right side has a small area of veneer missing and some scuffing at the bottom. The interior bottom of a couple drawers has some staining (see photos). This desk has been well-cared for and is ready to grace any office day one! less
