A magnificent pair of George III period crossbanded satinwood and Flover wreath Painted demi-lune card tables from approximately 1790, featuring green baize-lined playing surfaces. Style: Federal or Neoclassical, dating to the late 18th century. Design: Demi-lune (half-moon) shape with fold-over tops and tapering legs. Material: satinwood with inlay and crossbanding details. Function: Originally Designed as games or card tables these often used in pairs in elegant interiors.
Measures 36" in width, 36" in depth open, 18" in depth folded stand 28.5" tall.
