The piece rests on plinth legs and features three drawers of varying heights in the lower section. The flat writing flap is decorated with a recessed panel. The top is crowned by a flat, slightly curved cornice with profiled edge. The interior arrangement comprises seven drawers surrounding a central compartment with a stylized round arch, complemented by letter slots and a wide upper compartment. The writing surface has been newly covered in black faux leather. The secretary is veneered in flamed maple root and has been restored. See less
