A stunning example of American mid-century modern design — a large 4-drawer dresser from Raymond Loewy’s iconic Permanized Collection for Mengel Furniture, circa early 1950s. Offered in completely original, unaltered condition.
The cerused oak finish is all original, as are the sleek aluminum bar pulls — a signature Loewy detail. The interior drawer stamp is intact and clearly legible, confirming authenticity. This piece has never been refinished or altered in any way, making it a rare find for serious collectors.
