A Mid-20th Century Conant Ball Arm Chair with a tall bentwood hoop back, with spindle supports and central pierced central splat, bentwood arms, and a solid wooden seat into which the chair-back and legs are pushed into drilled holes and legs, a carved saddle seat, and a wonderful patina.
The Conant Ball Furniture Company was founded in the late 1800s in Gardner, Massachusetts, and was well known for manufacturing wooden Colonial Revival furniture. The Conant Ball Furniture Company closed in 1980.
