A surface built up slowly by hand, layer by layer, until the clay holds the color and texture of something ancient. Pale where the light catches it, dark where it settles into the form.
The scratched marks are the only gesture. Everything else the glaze decided.
Handbuilt ceramic. 12 inches tall, 8.5 inches wide. One of a kind.
