Trunk is by the celebrated Parisian maker Aux Etats-Unis, made during the golden age of travel. This company was founded in Paris in 1845 and was one of the great French trunk makers of the late 19th and early 20th century. Company label is attached to inside of the trunk's top. Trunk is covered in the house's signature patterned canvas with rich aged leather trim and features solid brass hardware, reinforced brass corners, dual front latches, and a substantial central locking clasp. The beautifully worn patina, age marks, and original travel labels all contribute to its authentic character and storied appeal.
