A set of eight Fairfield upholstered dining chairs, also available in pairs or sets of four or six, with sculptural carved wood frames, curved open backs, cabriole legs, and taupe low-pile velvet upholstery. The dramatic silhouette draws from Victorian and Gothic design, while the neutral upholstery makes the chairs surprisingly versatile in a traditional or transitional dining room.
The velvet upholstery was professionally vinylized to create a protective, easy-to-clean surface, making these particularly practical for an upholstered dining chair. We used these in our eat-in kitchen, and they combine the look of a formal upholstered chair with a finish designed for everyday use.

Six of the eight chairs are in pristine condition. Two have areas of damage to the protective vinylized surface, clearly shown in the photographs. The underlying chairs remain beautiful and substantial.

Made in the United States by Fairfield. Solid kiln-dried hardwood and laminated hardwood veneer frame construction with individually pocketed spring seat support.
