Such a beautiful pair of decorative pewter plates featuring 16th century King Henri II and his mother Queen Claude. These plates are likely late 18th century to early 19th century and just incredible! They were formed with a skillful hand- the likenesses & the details are so good! From Paris. Initials mark the back, but can’t find any stamps.
Both 9” in diameter. Would require plate hangers to mount on the wall.
Perfect gift for the history buff or Francophile!
