Set of 3 matted and framed etchings of horse heads c.1800 by Dutch artist Johannes Bemme (1775-1841.)
I’m reluctant to sell this set. It’s so good in so many ways: the etchings are beautiful, almost high-def before such a thing exhisted; the plate marks are clear and deep; the frames are great; we know who the artist is; and above all, who doesn’t love a set?!
As you can see, the frames are all slightly different in color, patter and size. They all measure 8.5” tall, but are 10”, 10.5” & 11” wide. Under glass. Each has a ring on top for hanging.
