A hand-painted porcelain trinket box from Limoges, France, featuring an adorable pair of wide-eyed owls nestled closely together on a woodland design base in soft mossy greens and warm browns.
This hinged keepsake box is very detailed and finished with an ornate brass bezel/band top and bottom and closes with a double-heart clasp that snaps securely.
The bottom has traditional Limoges studio markings, including “Peint Main,” indicating the piece was entirely hand painted in France.
Measures:
2 1/4" T x 2 1/2" W x 2 1/4" D
VERY GOOD pre-loved vintage condition.
The porcelain body is free of chips or cracks.
The lid aligns perfectly with the base and the brass bezel closes tight
The colors and hand-painted design are vibrant and crisp.
