Calder, famous for his amazing modern mobiles, was greatly influenced in his early years by acrobats at the circus. These are three drawing sketches of circus performers. These sketches are an important part of the history of Calder, and of modern art and sculpture. The prints include Calder's signature and dates of 1931 and 1932. I think these signatures and dates are printed on, but I am not sure. The paper has a lovely aged patina reflecting their vintage age. See less
