Freestanding executive partner desk by Thonet, originally designed in the 1960s and manufactured in 1992, confirmed by the original certificate and accompanying Thonet Vienna documentation.
Crafted in oak and beech with oak veneer, the desk is finished in black lacquer with brass-mounted details. The top features three inset writing panels in the original Thonet leatherette specification, framed by solid wood edging.
The architectural design is defined by symmetrical pedestal bases and a clean central knee space, reflecting high-end European executive office design. Multiple drawers on both sides provide generous storage capacity.
The desk retains:
* Original Thonet Vienna guarantee booklet
* Original Thonet medallion depicting founder Michael Thonet
* Documentation referencing production at the Austrian Thonet works in Friedberg
Comparable examples documented through Dorotheum, the historic Vienna auction house founded in 1707, describe the writing surface material as Kunstleder (synthetic leather).

* Originally designed with decorative column elements on the sides; four elements are no longer present. This does not affect structural stability or functionality.
