This exquisite porcelain figurine depicts a young courting couple. A young man is seated on marble bench proposing to young girl standing by his side. Everything in this piece is finely detailed from their exuberant expressions and 18th century period clothing down to the rose vine that wraps around the bench. Its is coated with a grayish green glaze accentuated by the pops of color on the roses and birds.
The figurine rests on a two tiered finely detailed perforated brass base
