English edwardian mahogany bookcase of slim and narrow proportion, having a shaped and fan inlaid in upstand above five shelves … Read more English edwardian mahogany bookcase of slim and narrow proportion, having a shaped and fan inlaid in upstand above five shelves each with crossbanded edge, all flanked by crossbanded pilasters terminating in shaped feet united by an apron. This antique bookcase came to us in good condition showing minor signs of usage. No cracks or breaks, no woodworm, solid and sturdy. The bookcase has been sympathetically cleaned and waxed, it retains soft patina and good colour. The bookcase is ready to place at home. Would fit in a small alcove.c1900
