Printed on acid free … Read more Giclee print of an antique engraving of The American Roseate Spoonbill and the Imperial White Spoonbill. Printed on acid free cotton rag paper with archival inks. This reproduction is taken from Carl Joseph Brodtmann's Naturhistorische Abbildungen der Saeucethiere. The work was authored by Heinrich Rudolf Schinz in Zurich in 1824. The work detailed the natural history of plants and animals from around the world. The original image was scanned and edited by CFA Editions and is a beautiful example of early hand colored stone lithograph Natural History Studies. This new reproduction print is the highest quality reproduction on the market and the colors are not only gorgeous but also have a light fastness of 160 years (aka will not fade for a long time) It measures 40 inches wide and 52 inches tall.
