This painting is part of my recent exploration of blue tonal landscapes and figurative coastal scenes, inspired by the quiet, atmospheric quality that layered shades of blue can create.
This original oil painting is inspired by the beauty and mystery of the sea, with a serene blue figure emerging from swirling water along a sunlit coastal village. Painted in rich shades of cobalt, turquoise, and white, the piece has an expressive, dreamlike quality that feels both peaceful and timeless. I wanted to capture the feeling of being drawn into the rhythm of the ocean and the quiet imagination that coastal places often inspire.
