A striking vintage Italian ceramic covered box, designed for Raymor. This piece features a sophisticated Mid-Century Modern aesthetic, characterized by a hand-painted geometric pattern on the lid in shades of ochre, burnt orange, and avocado green. The pattern is set against a creamy, heavy craquelure (crackle) glaze, creating a wonderful tactile and visual contrast with the smooth, high-gloss orange rectangular base.
This versatile piece is ideal as a desk accessory, jewelry box, or a standout decorative object for a shelf or coffee table. The underside retains the original gold foil label "Created in Italy for Raymor" and is hand-marked "30/12 Italy."
