Arne Jacobsen revolutionized … Read more A minimalist classic flatware set designed by Arne Jacobsen to represent the essence of Danish Modern style. Arne Jacobsen revolutionized cutlery with his original modern design for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen in 1957. This modernist flatware became extremely desirable after it was used as the flatware for the crew in Stanley Kubrick's film, 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968). This line has the most utmost subtle precision paired with high quality practicality.

This set is the rare original version that was introduced in 1957 and later discontinued. It is quite difficult to find such a large set of this run as it was later remade under Georg Jensen. Ours has some wear to some of the pieces as with most anything over 60 years old but is in overall fantastic vintage condition.

Here, we have a set of 65 according to a more recent Georg Jensen catalog in the last slide for reference, the measurements are based on centimeters.
