A beautiful piece by Louis Lourioux, this glazed stoneware planter is a perfect representation of the Art Deco elegance of the 1920s. We love its form, both understated and sculptural, enhanced by a superb glaze with subtle variations in color. Ideal for displaying a floral arrangement or a small plant, it also stands beautifully on its own, displayed like a sculpture on a sideboard or console table.
This collectible ceramic piece is a product of the workshop of Louis Lourioux, a French ceramist renowned for his stoneware art. The piece is in excellent condition, without chips or cracks. Stamped signature on the underside.
