This piece is a truly stunning example of the Louis XV & Versailles style crystal chandeliers. The multi-tier bronze body is intricately layered with a variety of Bohemian cut crystal pendalogues and all twelve of the original crystal spires. The bottom of the chandelier is accentuated by the original 100mm hollow cut crystal ball. The sheer scale of the fixture combined with the volume of crystal give it tremendous presence while maintaining a light and airy feel. The scrolling armature evokes the grandeur of 19th-early 20th century French lighting design.
The chandelier has been completely rewired for contemporary use and includes six feet of heavy duty bronze chain, escutcheon plate, and all necessary mounting hardware for installation on standard U.S. junction box. The amount of supplied chain will allow for an overall drop up to 10 feet from the ceiling to the bottom of the chandelier. If more chain is needed, it can be supplied at no additional cost.
