Baxter also referred to this work as “View of the Wye from Symonds Yatt.”

This miniature Victorian print was produced using the Baxter process, combining an aquatint key plate with oil colors printed from engraved wood blocks. Similar examples are documented in the collections of the Victoria & Albert Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Presented in an attractive black and gilt frame with red matting. Decorative landscape scene depicting figures overlooking the River Wye near Symonds Yat, Gloucestershire, England.
