Offered is a rare, museum-quality dining suite from the esteemed White Furniture Company of Mebane, North Carolina. Established in 1881 as the state's oldest furniture maker, White was the gold standard for American craftsmanship, famously furnishing the Grove Park Inn and U.S. military officer quarters.
This expansive set is rendered in a refined French Provincial / Louis XVI Revival style, featuring solid kiln-dried hardwood construction and the manufacturer’s signature "antiqued" factory finish.
The Suite Includes:
• Expanding Dining Table: A stately centerpiece featuring two (2) pristine skirted leaves and a full set of custom-fitted protective felt pads.
• Set of 6 Chairs: Elegant cane-back chairs with fluted legs and carved rosette details. Includes two armchairs and four side chairs. The cane work is in exceptional, unbroken condition.
