A 1990 acrylic on paper diptych painting, titled "Wind," by the American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Each panel of this diptych features an abstracted landscape scene of a pastel sky and a field full of reds, greens, and browns. Unframed, this piece is signed to the lower right and left, and titled and dated verso.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
