Highly ornate vintage decorative wine ewer or ornamental urn featuring elaborate Baroque Revival styling with richly detailed relief work throughout. Crafted in cast metal with an aged gilt finish, the piece features a circular body with pierced medallion panels, applied cherub figures, gargoyle masks, scrolling ornamentation, and an elegant flared spout with dramatic S-shaped handle.
The ewer rests on a molded pedestal base above a square plinth supported by four paw feet. Intricate detailing appears on all sides, giving the piece strong sculptural presence from every angle.
Likely produced during the mid-to-late 20th century in the Victorian or Renaissance Revival taste. A striking decorative accent for a mantel, library, wine room, or eclectic interior.
