Manganese Glow EAPG 14" Massive Punch Bowl Hobstar / Whirling Star
This massive 10lb EAPG master bowl is the ultimate statement piece. Whether you're a serious collector of early 20th-century glassware or looking for a show-stopping centerpiece for your next event, this bowl delivers. It features deep relief "Near-Cut" patterns that provide incredible light refraction.
UV Glow Feature: This antique glass contains manganese, producing a vibrant lime-green glow under UV/Blacklight. Perfect for adding a vintage neon vibe to rave-themed parties, college events, or spooky Halloween punch service.
Specifications:
Style: Early American Pressed Glass (EAPG) / Near-Cut
Diameter: 14"
Height: 7"
Weight: Approx. 10 lbs
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Features a "near-cut" style with a smooth, rounded sawtooth rim (not sharp to the touch). Note: There is a visible surface scratch on the exterior (as shown in the final photo). Contains original manufacturing air bubbles and has a slight wobble on flat surfaces, both common for this era and a result of the vintage molding process.
Design: Massive Scale: At 14" wide and 7" tall, this is a heavy (10 lb) statement piece. Its sheer size makes it much rarer than the common 8–10" versions.
Deep Relief Cuts: Features impressive, intricate cuts reaching a full 1/4" in depth, providing incredible light refraction and a premium, high-quality feel.
UV Manganese Glow: This piece contains Manganese and shows a light lime-green glow under UV/Blacklight, confirming its authentic early 20th-century origin.
Classic Pattern: Decorated with traditional Hobstar and Whirling Star motifs, consistent with the style of Imperial or McKee "Near-Cut" glassware.
