A Japanese enamel vase made using the Cloisonne enamel technique. The vase has the classic shape of an ancient bronze wine vessel called a Gu, characterized by a widened socket and a base with a central thickening. The surface is decorated with a pattern featuring swirling lotuses and flowers against a vibrant turquoise background. Red medallions with calligraphic inscriptions are visible on the central part and the bell. Probably marked, on the bottom. Antique and Vintage Asian and Oriental Vases, Desk Wares, Home Decor, and Collectibles.
