Fun vintage pair of bamboo stools finished in a softly aged painted gold finish and newly upholstered in Regal Fabrics “Zen Toile” fabric featuring a whimsical red pagoda, bridge, and landscape pattern. The mix of chinoiserie-inspired fabric with the bamboo form gives them a relaxed Palm Beach / Hollywood Regency feel that works equally well tucked under a console, at the foot of a bed, or used as extra seating.
These are not perfect, over-restored pieces — they have character and layered history. There are scattered chips and wear to the painted finish, and you can see traces of an older blue paint beneath in some areas, which honestly adds to their vintage charm and collected look.
Solid and sturdy with nicely scaled proportions.
