Old European and single cut diamonds total an estimated 0.50 carats (center diamond is estimated at 0.20 carats). The diamonds are estimated at I-J color and SI1-I1 clarity. Calibe cut rubies measure approx. 1.5mm.

The ring is highlighted with fine hand engraved details and milegrain work. Rich red rubies are carefully calibre cut to fit together in the round mount surrounding the center diamond. Each ruby was measured and cut to fit an exact position in the mount, with no gaps visible. It's meticulous, time sensitive work that requires both technical skill and an artistic eye. The ring would make a lovely vintage alternative engagement or right hand ring for everyday wear. The ring has a lower domed profile and rises 7.5mm from the finger (0.29 inches).

The ring is in good condition and was recently lightly cleaned and polished.
