Age and Origin:
The chest of drawers is likely from the 1770s and 1780s and probably originates from Germany.
Material:
The wood is walnut veneer on oak.
Dimensions:
Height: approx. 79 cm
Maximum width: approx. 55 cm
Maximum depth: approx. 47 cm
Construction:
The chest of drawers is not disassemblable and consists of one piece with two drawers.
Condition:
Original antique in very good condition for its age, with signs of wear, previously restored (see photos). Original locks are non-functional. Photos are part of the auction .

Extremely small, only 55 cm wide, antique Louis XVI chest of drawers circa 1770s and 1780. Walnut veneer with inlays and banded decoration. The chest of drawers is very elaborately crafted; the band inlays in the edges are particularly noteworthy.
