Inspired by … Read more The Uss Enterprise floor lamp is a luminous sculpture that elevates "Space Age" language to an architectural dimension. Inspired by the Star Trek saga, the work features four steel spheres (Ø 24 cm) floating within a rectangular frame made of square iron tubing. It is a visual representation of deep space navigation: the rigid structure defines the boundaries, while the luminous heart of the spheres, with their irregular cuts, evokes the pure energy and dynamism of warp engines.

The Process: A Unique and Unrepeatable Edition
Every piece is entirely self-produced by Dario Nasuti in his workshop in Parma, Italy. As with the 'Marziano' series, the creation of the lampshades is purely instinctive and manual. Nasuti traces the circles freehand and carves the metal with a small angle grinder, working "by eye." This performance-based artisanal approach ensures that the hole patterns are never identical: no two Uss Enterprise lamps can ever be the same, making each floor lamp a unique piece signed by the designer's hand.
