Elegant pair of armchairs designed by Maurice Calka for Arflex in the 1960s, model Grand Prix, one of the most iconic Italian design classics of the period.
They were reupholstered a few years ago with a Burberry-style plaid fabric, which gives a bold, vintage character while maintaining the elegance of the original design. Ideal for modern, mid-century or eclectic settings, perfect as conversation pieces or design accent. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
