It is made of stunning flame mahogany that has been crossbanded in satin wood with shell inlaid marquetry decoration. It is fitted with three frieze drawers over three cupboards, each with a central shelf, and the cabinet is raised on turned legs. Purchased at great expense from harrods in the 1980s and bears labels for william tillman. There is no mistaking the fine craftsmanship of this handsome sideboard, which is certain to become a treasured addition to your furniture collection. Complete with working locks and keys. The botanical name for the mahogany that this item is made of is swietenia macrophylla and this type of mahogany is not subject to cites regulation and does not contain any restricted materials.
