The 143-page, 1st Edition hardcover (Dodd, Mead) includes his famous "Spun-Glass Ship", as well as many of his fabulous, often mystical, b/w Deco illustrations. Opposite an up-front photo of him landing in Hawaii, he signed, "Aloha - Don Blanding." His poetry here recounts his travels to far places "of the earth" and far places "of the imagination." The book is housed in a unclipped dust jacket, and includes a Glossary of words associated with his many voyages. For all lovers of Blanding's spell-binding Deco art and the poetry that inspired it. The book will be sent, carefully packed, with tracking. See less
