These antique chairs from … Read more A French set of 6 Louis XVI style, oval-back upholstered side chairs from the 19th century. These antique chairs from France have been carved in the typical manner of the Louis XVI period, with oval framed back rests outlined in a beaded trim accent, as well as the inner seat rails, and carved rosettes adorning their knees. The inner back rests and seats are upholstered. The chairs are presented upon round, fluted legs which gently taper to their peg-style feet. The new custom upholstery is a taupe/grey tone Belgian linen. Please note that there have been prior repairs to one of the legs and one back. This 19th century set of French Louis XVI style side chairs will make a wonderful seating addition for a breakfast or dining room table. See less
