Blenko … Read more Mid-20th century slip-cast ecru ceramic ashtray filled with bright turquoise crushed glass, by American ceramic artist Robert Maxwell (1932-2020). Blenko Glass Company provided Maxwell the glass, the brilliant blue color from its turquoise range. There is a production flaw in the ceramic, near the rim, that appears to have occurred during the firing, there are no cracks or chips. Robert Maxwell's signature on underside. See less
