It features an original fiberglass shell, upholstered in its original wool fabric. Although the original label is no longer present, the hardware bears the Herman Miller mark, attesting to its authenticity.

This chair is distinguished by its height-adjustable swivel base, which uses a threaded rod mechanism—a robust and durable solution used in certain professional and contract versions of Eames furniture (offices, workshops, architecture).
